Tinashe has released her cover of Chaka Khan’s classic, 'I’m Every Woman,' featured on the 'Black History Always' EP (out now). I mean...it's not bad, and she was wise not to attempt an imitation. She made it... Tinashe, for a lack of a better word. However, Whitney Houston's version will always be the exception to the rule in my book.
In any case, take a listen and tell us what you think, below.

I love the increased number of posts and consistency Toya. You've been so diligent with this blog for over 10 or 15 years? Guess things are calmer on the home/personal front. Hope your mom's health has recovered and she's feeling better
Thank you. She's fitter and stronger than ever now. You know the saying... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I started blogging in 2005 and it's been an on off challenging journey ever since. But if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't be doing it.
Blessings to you Toya! I started following your blog since 2005 when the demo of Beyoncé’s “Check On It” leaked and you were debating if Kelly’s vocals were on it. Keep up the great work!!!
Thank u darling 😘
Yes Miss Toya, been stopping by back in the day too. Love your point of view and hope to see more posts weekly. Keep up the good work!
PS: I remember the VERZEZ battles between you and That 🍇 Juice. Lawd good times LOL.
I know. I almost gave up blogging after that. I was almost done. From being sabotaged by an old host to being sabotaged by another blogger... I quit for a bit and considered not returning.
