Justin Timberlake has issued an apology to both Janet Jackson and Britney Spears prior to the renewed scrutiny since ‘Framing Britney Spears.’ He repeatedly slut-shamed Britney after their break-up and shunned Janet after their Super Bowl scandal. Brit's reputation was ruined. Janet's career suffered. He got off scot free. His career completely unscathed. He waited almost two decades to say sorry. Too little too late.
His very late apology below:

waaaay too late!
It wasn't his idea to expose her - I never undertood the demand for him to publicly apologise (Janet herself as said he apologised privately, and he's publicly expressed regret over the fiasco in various interviews since) for something that that was beyond his control. Yes, Janet's career took a hit, but that was because of the media's reaction to the incident - Justin can't be blamed for that. There were plenty of people involved, closer to Justin that Janet, that also could have spoken up for her, and didn't.
*closer to Janet than Justin
Nahhh, this apology is wayyyy too little, wayyyy too late! He must have an album coming out. He's damaged them both and over the years has done nothing to make up for it, or show growth. This is a joke.
I will always be team Janet because of his petty behaviour afterwards. Just listen to Give it to me with Timbaland. He was more than happy that the blame was put solely on Janet. Not once did he come to her defense. This guy has so many wrongs to make right... He is and opportunist in every sense of the word. Don't blame the industry, blame your missing morals
Too little too late. I hope Britney and Janet are prospering.
No one ruined Janets career. Just blame the shitty music she released from then on. Albums consisting of over 20 tracks half of which could have been easily thrown into the garbage bin. Velvet Rope is the last album I can listen to in full. Everything after it - only separate tracks.
I kind of agree. Damita Jo is the last album I can listen to in full.
Oh and 20 y.o. was good, too
