It's been five years since Rihanna released her retirement album 'ANTi.' Five years of becoming a complete powerhouse for fashion, business, and beauty. This album was very street-savvy, serving some of the best vocals of her career.
The vocal growth can be heard in the soulful doo wop stylings of 'Love on The Brain,' a story of her love and hate relationship with love. The grimy elements of 'Needed Me,' an explicit R&B/trap cut, with Ri caught in her feelings and telling dude to f*ck off.
And of course let's not forget the dancehall-inspired lead single 'Work,' taking you back in time to peppy house parties, the club scene and sparkly bottle service. This album captured every single mood!
These three songs spawned the hits off an album that hit #1 in the States, and becoming certified 3x Platinum. The album is regarded as an artistic peak for Rihanna by critics and fans alike. If Rihanna is going to release a new album (and it probably won't be this year), it will most likely happen when this pandemic is well and truly over. She doesn't believe in doing things half-assed, and would want to tour and give the album a proper roll-out. So until she finally drops that much awaited announcement, go back and give this remarkable album another listen.

Sigh I'm just happy I was able to go to the Anti Tour show twice since shes indefinitely out the game of music lol
I'm glad you got the chance to... I mean a five year music absence is insane even for Rihanna.
Of all her post GGGB releases, this has been my least favorite album of hers.
I have to disagree... Loud is my favourite Rihanna album
