Mary J. Blige's 'Work That' rides high on iTunes after Kamala Harris impact.

Who run the world?! Girls! Who run the world?! Girls! Sure enough, that Kamala Harris impact is already being noted, and Mary J. Blige smiles!

Mary is currently enjoying some royalties off iTunes downloads, after Kamala walked out to her song 'Work That' for her first speech as Vice President-elect. Following Saturday's special ceremony, 'Work That' shot to #4 on the iTunes top 100 all genre chart! The fact that Mary's song is getting some serious traction after Kamala walked out to it speaks volumes. Now would also be a good time to check out Mary's 'Growing Pains' album since she's currently enjoying that extra boost.

  1. Growing pains is such a good album. I Love Mary and wish she would put out music like this again. Somehow her last two efforts weren't it...

  2. It is amazing how that song is so fitting for this moment. And i had actually forgotten about that album, which to me was actually the last album i really loved of Mary. So this is great!
