Lana Del Rey hits back at claims she “glamorises abuse.”


Lana Del Rey has hit back at claims her songs “glamourises abuse,” which sparks a debate about feminism and the treatment of women in the music industry. 

She has every right to feel frustrated at being “crucified” for singing about “emotionally abusive” relationships when other female artists aren't facing the same criticisms. However, she could easily have uplifted her own art without lowkey dragging other women. Not that Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande pay much attention.  "Oh, and my album drops September 5th by the way! Toodles!" The convenience.
