Kelly Rowland returns with new bedroom single (& video) 'Coffee' ♫♫

Kelly Rowland is serving up some 'Coffee,' with her new single but it is more on the cold, short side.

The video is simply a breathtaking melanated mood and she looked stunning. But the song  (written by Syd from The Internet and produced by Kosine of Da Internz) goes nowhere. Singing about morning sex is cool in my book. I just wish the song had more replay value. It's not terrible. It's just a little lackluster. I usually love a tropical inspired song too. Her last album was 2013’s 'Talk a Good Game.'

  1. Damn... I didn't even let it finish, boring and generic AF
R&B lately is kind of like reggeton... It all sounds the same!
    Next!

  2. I listened to it 5 times and it simply disappears from my memory. I really wanted for Kelly to release a hit single. Maybe album as a whole will be a nice listen. I really hope so.

  5. Dated. Visuals are nice but Solange did it better.

  6. I love the video but I just can’t get into Kelly’s solo music.

  7. It just sounded like an interlude. I don't think this is the official lead single, its just a teaser

  8. I thought this would make for great music behind a commercial ad or something.

  10. This song won't get a repeat on my playlist in Spotify, that's for sure. Like someone said before, almost all mainstream R&B music sound the same nowadays. No distinction at all. But it's also the kind of sound that it gets repetitive and boring real fast. The trap influence that you hear everywhere rarely sounds good tbh. But Kelly R. looks absolutely beautiful in the music video! I was hoping that Kelly would go for a Donna Summer route and just make a disco-esque summer album, which would suit her so perfect. (it does help that she looks like the late- great Donna Summer)

Also, I'm very very happy that the comment section is back, Toya. And I hope you're doing great considering the circumstances.

  11. Thank you, I'm surviving. There are people out there that are in dire situations compared to me. I can't complain. Hope everyone here is doing well too.
