Janet, who was wearing an Alexander Wang look, has been absent from this very event for the past 12 years! The last time she attended this annual event was in 2008, where she was seen walking the red carpet with her ex Jermaine Dupri. Funnily enough, Dupri was spotted walking the carpet separately this year. But the real tea is why did Janet stay away from this event for so long? Did she have a falling out with Davis?
Janet got up on stage with Davis and put emphasis on being in the industry for 47 years. She is now 53. So Janet was thrust into the limelight when she was practically a toddler wearing nappies. Children should be allowed to be children, but we all know how cut throat her father use to be. As for the hair, this is the first time I have seen Janet rock dreads, and issa look! Check out all these icons in their respective fields scrambling for a photo op with Ms Jackson. We love to see it.
