Granted, the pictures are more polished and edited, but at least we get to appreciate the finer details of her appearances (in this case, Diddy's 50th.) These finer details are some of the things that a photo agency like Getty couldn't capture. She usually takes them around her house before heading out. Her lace-front wigs are always bouncier because the humidity of a party setting hasn't kicked in yet. Her lippie still glistening because the lipstick or gloss has not yet been chapped by a wine glass. Her foundation still pristine, because no one has yet tried to get too close and put their mouth (or teeth) into her. So Bey always wants to make sure she takes the pics while everything has been freshly applied. You know her Instagram pics have to be picture perfect before she puts them up.
