Maybe it's time Keri Hilson just accepted she's blackballed...

So yesterday, milk carton singer Keri Hilson took to social media to provide a small update on her long-awaited third studio album. It’s been over 10 years since Keri released an album, and now we're going to have to wait a little longer because she missed the summer deadline.

Soooo... here's the timeline of events so far. March 2016, "Guuuyys, my new single aint coming out because the press release was fake and I'm going to sue!" January 2017, "Guys, my new album title is... blah blah blah" (notice how I sarcastically predicted in that 2017 post that the album would be out in 2020; we're now in the last quarter of 2019!) February 2019: "Hi guys, another update. I was sabotaged by evil forces so my album won't be coming out for now!" September, 2019, "Hi guys, I'm working my ass off to get this album to you!" Maybe it's time for Keri to just accept she's blackballed and stick to writing for others instead. I'd love new music from her just as much as the next person standing in a short line of 10 at the dentist, but when it takes 10 years I even ask myself if the public interest is still there. She's not exactly Sade.
