In the assisting interview, Mariah said that the youngest generation of artists have had it too easy. She feels artists from her time had to work their butts off and make sacrifices to be seen and heard. Record sales were REAL and not dependent on streams. She's right! Any vocally-challenged singer these days can go on YouTube, sing a song about cheese burgers and that mess will go viral.
