Solange performs two-song set on ‘SNL’

Solange Knowles was the musical guest on last night's 'Saturday Night Live.'

Beyoncé’s sister performed 'Cranes in the Sky' and 'Don't Touch My Hair' off her critically acclaimed third album, ‘A Seat at the Table.’ She looked very beautiful. Her whole aesthetic was wonderful, but you could tell she was nervous. She fluffed some lyrics during 'Cranes in the Sky', and her vocals were a bit shaky at the start of 'Don't Touch My Hair'. There was also some pitch issues too, though 'Cranes' was definitely the better performance vocally. I love how they rearranged it and added the sax. Aside from those several vocal hiccups, she did a really good job, and I'm glad she's performing on a bigger platform now.

Mama Tina also recreated Solange's album cover, and then proceeded to recreate a look from Beyoncé’s 'Formation' video. Nobody stans for these girls like Mama Tina. Cute.
