Craig David has first number one album in 16 years

Craig David returns to the top of the UK album chart this week, 16 years after his debut album 'Born To Do It' debuted there.

Woop woop. Not bad considering the narrative surrounding Bo Selecta killing his career, and duds like 'Whats Ur Flava.' Though this was a poor reflection of what was a really good album. He's certainly come along way after falling off over the years. Craig's new album 'Following My Intuition' outsold its nearest rival, Bon Iver's '22, A Million' by 4,500 units. Craig sold 24,500 copies, which is a far cry from the 225,000 copies sold in week one with his debut. Though these figures are standard for today's musical climate, and the general decline of album sales overall. In support of the project, Craig will embark on a 16-date UK arena tour in March.
