Solange slams New York Times pop critic...

New York Times pop critic Jon Caramanica received a major Twitter roasting from Solange Knowles earlier today.
Solange reflects back to Caramanica's podcast from 2013, following her recent interview with R&B veteran Brandy. In the podcast, Caramanica says Solange's success is because of her affiliation with the Grizzly Bears. He pretty much calls her a hypocrite and says she should not bite the hand that feeds her because she'd be nothing without them.

Three years ago, Solange blasted indie-music writers for their lack of knowledge about R&B music when their writers didn’t grow up listening to it: “Some of these music blogs could actually benefit from hiring people who REALLY understand the culture of R&B to write about R&B… Like you really should know about deep Brandy album cuts before you are giving a ‘grade’ or a ‘score’ to any R&B artist.”

At the time, Solange was defending Brandy's album 'Two Eleven,' which was being panned by critics. She didn't take too kindly towards Caramanica’s snarky remarks about the “deep Brandy album cuts” line. Two days ago, her website interviewed Brandy about her storied 20-year music career, which flared up Solange's feelings all over again, three years later. Decent read by the way

Just so you know, Solange has always shown love towards Grizzly Bears and had no issue with them whatsoever. Her issue was with journalists and their ignorance towards R&B music in 2013.

Anyway, I'll leave you with her angry tweets from earlier:

Brandy shows her gratitude:
