In a brand new interview, Ciara remains totally unbothered that her last album 'Jackie' sold just 19,900 copies in its first week.
This is the lowest first week sales among all of the six albums she has released in her career. Despite acknowledging that sales are not what they use to be generally, she is still very proud of the project. She hails it her "best body of work" to date. If this was truly the case, why did she give up on it so soon? I miss those days when promo for an album was milked for an entire two years before a new project was even considered. Nowadays it seems like an album's shelf life is six months tops (or less.)
