Monica looks like she's soooo over it in this shoot. I think she's a pretty woman, but this is far from her best.
She refers to herself as the "under dog," for putting her family first ahead of her career. At what point does someone stop referring to themselves as an underdog? After they had a hit record? Because Monica had that. She's enjoyed a highly established 20+ year career and then fell off. Isn't that the case with most 90s singers (who eventually go on to marry and have kids)?
