Trailer: Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart' biopic...

Lifetime’s upcoming biopic 'Unbreak My Heart,' based on the life of Grammy Award winning superstar Toni Braxton, unwraps the first look via a trailer.

I love Toni Braxton, and her 'Secrets' album ranks among my top 10 as favourite albums of all time. But outside of the bankrupties, this biopic wouldn't interest me. There hasn't been much scandal in her life. It would be boring, and I know that's awful but it's what puts bums on sofas at the end of the day. 

I want to watch a biopic that will capture me on the edge of my seat when I watch it for the very first time like 'What's Love Got to Do with It.' I could see that level of standard done with a Whitney Houston biopic if done correctly. Hell, I'd definitely be down for a Mariah Carey biopic as I would love to see how her tumultuous marriage to Tommy Mottola plays out on screen, as well as her meltdown. But a Toni biopic? No, no and no. Look out for the film which stars Lex Scott Davis as Toni to premiere on January 23rd at 8PM.
