Adele accused of plagiarism...

Adele is being accused by Ahmet Kaya’s fanbase of plagiarising the Kurdish-Turkish singer’s 1985 song 'Acilara Tutunmak (Clinging to Pain).'
The supposedly guilty track is 'Million Years Ago' off Adele's monster selling album '25,' which has sold 4.5 million in two weeks Stateside. I actually wondered when Adele would be hit with copyright claims. She's breaking historic records left and right with her album and obviously someone is going to want to cash in on the gravy train.

Kaya passed away 15 years ago, while living in Paris in exile. But his wife, Gülten Kaya, spoke with Turkish daily newspaper Posta on the claims, saying she believes the copyright would have been deliberate, “However, if she consciously did it, then it would be theft” she adds. I've listened to both songs and the melody has a similar structure. However, the chord progression used is a very common timeless melody that has been used in countless pop songs over the years in many different variations (For example, the Phantom of the Opera theme and Mariah Carey's 'My All' are ones you'd probably be more familiar with the most.)

Anyway, listen to both songs below and decide.
