Adele *officially* breaks *NSYNC's first week sales record...

It has now been confirmed by Nielsen Music that Adele’s album '25' has broken the first week sales record in Stateside/Nielsen SoundScan HISTORY!
Forget Stateside history. This is global history! The 15-year Stateside record as we all know, was previously held by *NSYNC. Such a feat now obliterates the records set before her by not only *NSYNC, but Britney Spears as well! '25' has already sold at least 2.433 million in slightly more than three days.

This figure beats the  first week record for an album since Nielsen began tracking sales in 1991, set by *NSYNC’s No Strings Attached. Their album debuted with 2,416,000 in the week ending March 26th, 2000. Carnage!!!!!!!!! She certainly knows how to make it rain for some that's for sure. A thunderstorm is definitely brewing.
