Janet Jackson debuts new Missy collaboration on 'Unbreakable' tour opening night...
She's back! Janet Jackson kicked off her 'Unbreakable' world tour at Rogers Arena in Vancouver last night. Janet debuted FIVE new songs off her upcoming album 'Unbreakable,' as well as performing latest single 'No Sleeep.'
One of the new songs was an uptempo dance collaboration which saw her reunite with Missy Elliott on a track called 'Burn It Up.'
This was produced by Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis with co-production from Dem Jointz. The other was 'Should've Known Better,' but details are sketchy. The Missy collab sounds like pop Janet post 2001. I like it. As expected, her costumes were very demure. Arms, chest, stomach and legs were totally covered. She wore white baggy harem pants throughout the entire set and barely did any costume changes. She still looked fab and danced up a storm. Janet had an amazing setlist, performing every uptempo dance hit she's ever had. Fans certainly got their life from it and I'm thinking of going should she bring the tour to Europe. Check out the two new songs (via video footage), more photos and the entire setlist, inside!
