Rap-Up has exclusively learned that Rihanna has recorded a song with her Roc Nation labelmate J. Cole, slated to appear on her upcoming new album. The midtempo song was produced by producer Deputy.This puts to bed those silly rumours about Rihanna taking a break from music to pursue fashion full time.
In fact, she was at J. Cole's concert in LA last night, so their studio session could have been very recent!
It's baffling she's still recording R8 after three singles, but at least we know the album is still happening. I'll be joining you guys in November for the roll-out party, that is!
When describing what Rihanna was like in the studio, Deputy says:
