The bedroom cut serves as the second single off her upcoming new album 'Jackie' (due next week).
'Dance', which is now available on iTunes, was produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut. It has this cute hook, and nice minimalist production, highlighting her vocals, which I gotta admit are on point.
The track is a little too chilled to be considered a bop. I wish she would switch up the tempo a bit but I think she would kill it with the music video. The song has a pop sheen to it, yet not enough for the urban crowd to feel pushed out. It's bold of her to go with this for pop since no other song on CHR currently sounds like this. That said, the lyrically sparse song is dope, and it's definetely a step in the right direction. I like this a lot!
