Pre-Grammy Central: Ashanti...

Isn't she such an ageless beauty? Ashanti, who is rumoured to have signed a new record deal with Capitol, did a couple of pre-Grammy rounds over the weekend. 

First performing songs off her latest album 'Braveheart' at the KIIS Grammys Gifting Suite in this pink, prom-esque get-up. The dress is not really flattering, but I dig the colour being the pink enthusiast that I am. She certainly loves herself some Michael Costello. As for her rumoured new deal, do you remember when Capitol halted the promotion for Letoya Luckett's  'Lady Love' album five years ago? *Updated*

They refused to pay for her third single 'Regret' to get added to certain radio formats and they didn't even want to fund the video until her fans petitioned against it. They dropped the ball on her promotion the moment her second album and assisting singles underperformed. So if this is true, I'm not sure what they can do for the career of a now struggling R&B singer. I suppose we will just have to wait and see how this all pans out. If true of course.
