For Janet Jackson, it must be really nice being the one to watch the legends perform on stage from an audience view. Being a legend herself, she is so use to being the one entertaining the crowds and putting on a show. This time, Janet watched her brothers (as well as powerhouse divas Gloria Gaynor and Chaka Khan) take to the stage in Dubai to perform some of their Jackson 5 classics 'ABC' and 'Blame it on the Boogie.'
Janet and Michael were the only superstars in that family. I wonder how Janet truly feels watching her 60-something brothers continue to exploit the King of Pop's legacy for their own gain. Why are they still covering songs such as 'Rock With You' and 'Beat It'? All of this while using a big screen backdrop showing photo montages of the late singer’s life. It might have been acceptable during the recent aftermath of his death but almost six years later?
