It hasn't even been a year since Ashanti dropped her last studio album 'Braveheart.' Yet, here she is, recording new music for what is believed to be her next studio album. This girl sure hustles. I am sure she misses the advances of being on a major label though, or she would not be considering signing to the disaster that is Young Money. Even Tamia, who has dropped a few albums independently, went back to a major with her Def Jam deal. I think she should pitch a bid to Atlantic Records.
Their R&B division is more positive and they have better handling techniques when it comes to their artists. They have Trey Songz, Bruno Mars and JoJo, so she'd be in great company over there.
