The Emoji-inspired clip, directed by Sophie Muller shows Gwen dancing around in an underground club. Gwen definitely brought some of that fun factor to the visuals. Last night, she and Pharrell brought out the sparklers when they performed the song for the first time on NBC's 'The Voice.'
Gwen reenacted the emoji concept with her performance, while the crowd held up glow sticks. The song actually translates really well in a live setting. Her last few performances with No Doubt were not good at all, so in comparison, this was pretty amazing, lol. Her first solo album in eight years drops later this month. Video and performance below.
