Usher brings out Trey Songz & August Alsina in Chicago...

Usher is clearly the daddy of cool when it comes to these younger R&B cats.

And ladies were in for a treat when the R&B vet brought Trey Songz and his current support act August Alsina during the Chicago stop of his the 'UR Experience' tour. August returned to the stage along with Trey to perform the remix to 'I Luv This Shit.' The fans did too.

In related news, Usher has teamed up with Max Martin, Ed Sheeran, Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis, Skrillex, and Disclosure for his upcoming new album 'UR.' Somebody is becoming thirsty for that hit single. I guess he is seeing how this urban lane is not working out for him anymore. Why else would he have gone back to working with pop producers again? It's certainly not the kind of move representative of someone who "has nothing else to prove" (his words.) Usher clearly doesn't want this album to flop or he would have just released it despite all of those under-performing singles.

Thoughts?
