During an interview with Extra, Nick Cannon had nothing but nice things to say about his soon-to-be ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Over the last few days, the legendary diva has been viciously panned for her poor vocals during the Asian leg of her world tour. He reveals that they're in constant contact and says, "I just wish her nothing but the best."
As for her poor vocals?: "You know you might have an off night here and there, but she’s one of the greatest performers and entertainers of all time, she’s not worried, we’re not worried, just going to keep pushing.” And that tat replacement? “It’s not finished yet… It wasn’t supposed to be revealed yet… I didn’t know they were there, that’s how sneaky paparazzi are… I had just gotten it done, it was painful… It hurt a lot and I’m still not finished, I’m still probably like six more sessions away.”
I don't believe he didn't know the paps were there. If he really didn't want the tat to be revealed too soon, he would not have taken his shirt off at his birthday party or parade topless on the beach. He WANTED it to be seen because he wanted the world to know he's moved on. Anyway, this was a classy interview. The whole separation thing could have been really nasty like the split between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa but it's good they are both handling this in a mature and civilised manner. The last thing their twins need right now is their parents embroiled in a war of bitterness.
