The good news is that it's shaping up to be quite the effort having snagged collaborations with the likes of Prince and Jay Z. Maybe that move worked out in her favour because honestly, I am not trying to hear a bunch of Calvin tracks on one album.
Anyway, she has just possibly added another exciting collaboration to the project. During an interview with KISS, she reveals that she will be working with her biggest idol Gwen Stefani soon. Rita has not been inspired by just Gwen musically, but image-wise too. Throughout her career, she has donned Gwen’s signature blond hair and loud red lipstick.
Rita reveals:
“I’ve been asking her for a long time, so she might be like “can you stop asking me”. No, we’ve been speaking for a while and seeing her at the VMA’s we caught up on it all, but I don’t want to give too much away.”Excited? Both of them are readying new albums so the song could appear on either project.
