Let's get the bad news out of the way first, because it's always good to trump the bad news with the good. Chris Brown's new album 'X' won't claim the top spot on next week's Billboard 200.
The good news is, his first week sales predictions for the project has increased significantly. He is now set to sell between 130-140k, while his main competitor Barbra Streisand is projected at 155-165k.
These numbers match the first week sales of his last album 'Fortune' (in 2012, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 selling 135,000 copies in its first week). After 2 years, there would be no sales decline which is pretty amazing given the declining sales in general. His would-be collaborator Ariana Grande sold 168,000 copies in her first week with 'My Everything' and that was with THREE top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. His fans TRULY came through for him.
