On Friday, Chris Brown attended the 2014 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. At last night's ceremony, he received a Special Citation of Achievement recognising over 1 million broadcast performances of his hit 'Forever.'
This song was undoubtedly his best and biggest hit ever. Had he kept his fists to himself, I am most certainly positive his career would have
catapulted to major heights after that song. It was his first real cross-over hit!
“I just appreciate all the singers and the songwriters who helped me
get to this point making all this great music,” said Breezy. “I didn’t
do it by myself. The fans really jump started it.”
Tamar Braxton performed 'Love & War' and Faith Evans put in an appearance too.
