In a new interview with British magazine Hello!, Alicia Keys, currently pregnant with her second child, reveals to the mag that she's excited to see what fans make of her new album and hints that many may be shocked by her new sound.
"I'm really looking forward to beginning to share this new music with the world in the coming months. It's crazy and my favourite yet," she laughed.
She was asked on what inspires her in the studio and cited a list of the many people she looks up to:
"There are so many, in so many different genres: Nina Simone, Prince, Patrice Rushen, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Erik Satie, Chopin, Marian McPartland... I can go on and on. I feel very blessed to live in this time where we can connect to so many sources of inspiration," she said. (source)
I like her albums a lot, although I was a little let down by her last effort. I know that somewhere down the line she is going to create something deep and meaningful. Are you anticipating?
