Snapshots: Cheryl Cole's cover spread for 'Elle' magazine...

Photoshoots like these is the reason why Cheryl Cole is a woman to be seen and NOT heard. She oozes fierce in the cover shoot for UK Elle magazine’s August issue. The 'singer', who turned 31 this week, will always look better as a brunette but I think her blonde looks come across really well in this spread.

She has also made a return to the UK X Factor and says Simon was right to axe her from the Stateside version. "I wasn’t well in the head when that was going on, so it wasn’t going to work. But he wasn’t right not to tell me to my face" she says. Her new single 'Crazy Stupid Love' featuring Tinie Tempah is released on July 20th, followed by her fourth studio album 'Only Human' slated for release in November.
