Producer Boots talks reworking Beyoncé’s ‘Crazy In Love’...

Many of us have become so infatuated with Beyoncé’s new version of 'Crazy In Love' that the play button to the '50 Shades of Grey' trailer has been used and abused aplenty! Get that ish on iTunes NOW!
Producer Boots spoke to Complex mag about the process in remaking the song. It is actually a big deal that he and Bey managed to score this gig for one of today's most anticipated films.

Why did you choose that song for the trailer?
"It just fits. I like to think of myself as more than just a producer. I look at what we did for the trailer and this version of the song is, very much in my opinion, a score. It was something that I consciously scored. Whenever it comes to the stuff that Bey and I do, I'll never speak for her, but I think that she killed it. She just absolutely killed it. The acapellas that she did gives me chills, so it's really dope."
It's very chilling, alright. Very dark and haunting. Avid readers like myself will also know that Beyoncé was also featured in the book when an ex-sub of Christian Grey had the actual song in her playlist. No coincidence.

I also think she should not just release it to iTunes, but perform the new version on her current 'On The Run' tour. I predict she may very well perform the song during her Paris shows which will be taped for her HBO special in September. Then, after her concert broadcasts on September 20th, she should release the song officially. This would truly serve as major promo for the song. I hope this is the initial plan.
