New Music: Craig David - 'Cold'...

UK crooner Craig David marks his return to the music scene with a brand new single called 'Cold.' The song, set for a September iTunes release, serves as the first single off his sixth studio album 'Following My Intuition.' During his 4-year hiatus, Craig has spent the last few years bodybuilding, DJing and touring, so he's been busy doing other stuff on the sidelines too. Less than a week ago, he debuted the song during his Capital XTRA TS5 rooftop party in London, and has unveiled the full version online. 

The track sees Craig singing about a girl that's "so cold," but he can't stay away. Is this new song the business, though? As a die-hard CD fan, I have to admit this is a tad bit underwhelming. It's good that he hasn't jumped on the dance train, and instead opted to revisit the R&B acoustic-guitar sound that made his debut so successful. However, the production is just not as crisp. His new album is slated to drop in stores this autumn via Universal Music.
