Janet's last album 'Discipline' was released in 2008 and to say the thirst has been real is an understatement. Of course I won't get excited until this is actually official. This new album talk dates back to as far as 2012 and there's been nothing. Still, some news is better than no news. Plus, Jimmy Jam has recently delivered multiple hints about Janet's comeback so this could be the real deal. At least we can hope right? Read the full interview over at Barefoot Sound!
Janet Jackson's new album is coming...
In a new interview with Barefoot magazine, vocal producer and engineer Ian Cross confirmed the news that we have all been waiting for! Janet Jackson has not quit the music industry as previous reports had suggested. In fact, a new album is definitely in the works! But... we kind of knew that already.
"The new album is going to be great" says Cross. "It’s a process. There’s a lot in store, yet to come. I can’t go into too many details but I think Janet Jackson’s fans are going to be very excited about the new album, and I think people who don’t know her as fans are going to be excited about it, too." Too right!
