Now it's official. Cheryl Cole's new single ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ has hit the #1 spot on the Official UK Singles Chart, selling 118K copies. Can't say I'm too surprised at this though. Worse songs have made it to number one here.

As a solo artist, this serves as her fourth British chart-topper, tying with Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora as the only females to achieve this in the history of the Official UK Singles chart. As pants as this song may be, a hit song is a hit song at the end of the day. Congrats to the newly-wedded X Factor judge. I guess.
