The song sounds okay but it doesn't scream lead single at all. Something about it comes across as very mixtape-ish. I don't think it's as melodic as her previous stuff to be honest. It does have some grit to it (perhaps to attract more urban airplay?) and it could even be a grower. Jhené will also be performing the song at this Sunday’s BET Awards in Los Angeles.
