Mel B confirmed as fourth and final judge on X Factor UK...

After signing a reported £1million deal, Mel B has been confirmed as the fourth and final judge on this year's X Factor UK. She joins Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh on the panel this September. In an official statement, which you can read in full here, the former Spice Girl says she can’t wait to get started and find some amazing talent.

Interesting how Simon hires a panel with not a shred of singing talent for a SINGING competition. At least Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow had some music credibility. Yes, Mel and Cheryl have both enjoyed major pop success with their girl bands, but ONE person with at least some talent would have been a great asset to the show. It's become very apparent how thirsty Simon is to have WHOEVER will attract ratings. Not that I won't be watching.
