Robin Thicke readies new album for July...

It has been announced today that R&B crooner Robin Thicke will release his seventh studio album on July 1st via Star Trak/Interscope Records. He debuted the first single 'Get Her Back' at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. The track is a heartfelt plea to win back his wife Paula Patton.

The new album was written and produced entirely by Thicke. So much for a Thicke-less summer huh? Last year, he was practically everywhere when 'Blurred Lines' topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

I will listen to his new album but only if it's not packed with 'I screwed up, please take me back' because that would be more than I could bear.

Unless... he plans to do an Usher with 'Confessions' (of course with his story not being a gimmicky fabrication) and he spill the beans, which would really get folk interested.

Hmmm... we shall see.
