The lead single, 'Love Never Felt So Good' featuring Justin Timberlake, became his 28th top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 when it debuted at #20. His 2010 posthumous album 'Michael' debuted at #3 with 228,000.
His record label recently promoted the album at the Billboard Music Awards with a hologram of the legendary singer performing 'Slave To The Rhythm,' a performance dubbed "Worst Misuse of a Pop Icon," in Yahoo's best and worst moments from the show.
Meanwhile, 'Thriller' producer Quincy Jones has called the project nothing more than a cash-in. "They're trying to make money, and I understand it," he recently told CBC Radio. "Everybody's after money, the estate, the lawyers. It's about money."
Evidently, no lies were told.
