She becomes the first woman (and fourth artist overall) to be honoured with the title, joining past winners Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Neil Diamond. The ceremony will take place on May 18th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas.
Not only will she be honoured, she will also perform two songs - her new single 'First Love' and the World Cup anthem. This serves as great promo for her new album 'A.K.A.,' which drops June 17th. Read the full press release here.
