Gwen Stefani & Pharrell perform 'Hollaback Girl' on 'The Voice'...
Next season, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will serve as new coaches on NBC’s 'The Voice.' As a result, they popped in for a joint performance. Gwen and her female dancers performed her 2004 Pharrell-produced hit 'Hollaback Girl' alongside the man himself.
While I'm pleased to have Gwen on the panel, I never understood why producers have this urgency to stick to a ‘type’ with Cee-Lo and Christina Aguilera’s replacements. It's either an African-American urban-pop male or a sexy blonde pop female to replace either of them. It's like they are scared to break protocol.
