It's been some years since the underrated Teyana Taylor dropped her first single 'Google Me' under the assistance of Pharrell Williams. And yet, a debut album still can't see the light of day. Last night, she dropped an emotional piano ballad called 'Sorry'. She puts that raspy alto to good use while asking for forgiveness when a relationship fails.
I love her vocals on the song. I'm getting some serious Brandy teas from it and it's raw. I hope at some point we get an album from her eventually. In the meantime, you can catch her in the BET series 'The Start Up' alongside Bria Murphy and Diggy Simmons.
