New Music: Michael Jackson - ‘Xscape’, new album set for May release...

Epic Records has partnered with the Estate of Michael Jackson to release a second posthumous album titled, 'Xscape'. As horrible as the artwork is, I'm actually curious about hearing these new songs.

MJ was a visual artist and since he's not around to create awesome music videos, it would just feel like another half-baked project (obviously, with money being the main motivator).

Archived never before heard songs are being “contemporized” under the guidance of L.A. Reid and a team of today’s top producers. Timbaland has been appointed as the album’s lead producer, with additional production from Stargate, Jerome 'Jroc' Harmon, John McClain, and Rodney Jerkins. In fact, Jerkins “contemporized” the title track with MJ in the studio.

The album, which will be available as a deluxe edition, will be available for pre-orders from April 1st on iTunes. The overall album itself drops on May 13th. Hopefully the music on this one won't be fraudulent like the first album. Listen to his new single ‘Xscape’ below.
