Kelly Rowland plots fifth studio album...

It was brought to our attention recently that Kelly Rowland was no longer on Universal Republic. Turns out that she left the label after two albums because she needed a fresh, new start. Her words.

As of now she is recording her fifth studio album and last week returned to the studio to work on fresh material.

She tells HuffPost Live that this serves a fresh new spin on everything, with writers and producers and the creative process. She confirms there are different offers on the table but has yet to decide on her next move.

The new music will entail horns, drums, and flutes, and was influenced by iconic female singers such as Diana Ross. In addition to music, she has been reading scripts and wants to venture into acting. In related news, she has just been announced as the new spokesmodel for Caress skin care following her lucrative deals with TJ Steel and Jaguar. Sounds like Ms. Rowland is doing just fine to me.

Thoughts?
