Full concert: Kelis performs live at 'SXSW'...

Kelis made her first American appearance in more than three years during NPR Music's SXSW Showcase at Stubb's. She was backed by an eleven-piece band that included two back-up singers and a horn section. She performed songs off her upcoming new album 'FOOD', as well as older hits from her impressive back catalogue.

For the love of nostalgia, she delivered a big band tribal rendition of her 2003 hit 'Milkshake' and even soared through 'A Capella', a dance song from her 2010 album 'Flesh Tone'. Whether you're a fan of funk, ska-pop, R&B or dance, there was a bit of something for everyone.
