Earlier this week (Feb 4th),
Mariah Carey shot a music video with
Trey Songz. Also spotted on set was Mariah's right hand man
Jermaine Dupri alongside director
Chris Robinson. So it's pretty safe to assume he was in the director's chair. This is surprising because MC has worked with all the popular directors sans Robinson. The shoot took place on the same night she paraded around in
that bikini, so now we know what she meant when she said she was "working".
No one knows for sure what they were shooting for. It could either have been for Mariah's new single or Trey's.
I'm leaning more towards MC simply because JD was all up in her personal space (as usual). Plus, Mimi is expected to drop a new single in the next couple of weeks. Only time will tell. Will she debut the song at this year’s
‘BET Honours’ where she has been announced as a performer on February 24th? Sure would be nice.
