During her visit to Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show, Rita Ora previewed her new single 'I Will Never Let You Down', which she sang live on air. I suppose we will hear it in full before she performs at this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend in Glasgow this coming May. The cut was produced by her boyfriend Calvin Harris, the mastermind behind Rihanna's monster hit 'We Found Love'.
There's a big difference already as Calvin just tweeted that the song is "not EDM". That actually might be a first because everything else Calvin has touched in the past has been soulless and bland.
Well, sans 'We Found Love' but that's only because Rihanna because she made it what it is. Rita has yet to score a hit in the States, but she does have a song with Macklemore. Although the US don't seem to care for her as an artist, that may be set to change after she puts out the Macklemore feature.
'ORA' was such a shit album that I feel she needs to come back hard this time, or not at all. I won't get my hopes up though. As well as preparing to drop her second album later this year, she is currently filming her role as Mia, the adopted younger sister of Christian Grey, in the upcoming 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' movie.
