Watch: Rebecca Ferguson performs 'I Hope' on UK's X Factor...

As stunning as she looked last night, Rebecca Ferguson's voice was nothing short of annoying during a performance on UK's X Factor. While performing her new single 'I Hope', viewers were treated to the sounds of someone gargling mouthwash.

On first listen I liked the song but the repetition of "Ay hope ay hope ay hope" is starting to drive me nuts. Not even the burning flames and an impressive stage set could distract from the fact that her voice was just not up to par. 'I Hope' serves as the lead single from her new album 'Freedom', which hit UK stores earlier today. The X Factor graduate is gearing up to go on tour next March but if she expects anyone to sit through her show for two hours, she will need to do some readjusting.
