Less than 24 hours after her surprise album release, Beyoncé performed 'XO' live during the Chicago stop of her 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour. It was the very first time she performed the rousing ballad last night.
Beyoncé rocked a brand new Balmain outfit (above) and was very excited to perform the exclusive while encouraging fans to sing along. The performance comes after her fifth studio album ‘Beyonce’ topped iTunes in 100 countries – breaking the previous record of 97 set by One Direction earlier this year.

On the same night, it was officially confirmed that her two new singles will impact radio next week. According to Billboard, the Pharrell-produced 'Blow' will hit Top 40, while the Jay-Z-assisted 'Drunk In Love' will go to urban. 'XO', which was penned by Ryan Tedder and The-Dream, will follow in 2014, serving as the second single at Top 40. Fans will be pleased to know she has a tonne of new music to perform at her UK shows in February. However, such excitement was ruined at news this years X Factor (UK) winner will support her on tour. *gags*
